Cambridge Biology Program

Started in 2012, the Cambridge Biology Program offers a class in Honors Biology, a prep class for the AP Biology test, and training classes for national and international Biology competitions.

Its instructor, Dr. James Lin, M.D., studied Biology (including Ecology, Evolution & Plants) at UC Berkeley and graduated with high honors, studied Evolution & Animal Behavior for his Masters Degree, and studied Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics and Physiology in medical school.

Since 2013, more than 170 former Cambridge Biology students made the Semifinals of the USA Biology Olympiad (Top 500 in America), 14 made the Finals (Top 20), and 3 made Team USA (Top 4). Many students also obtained honors in other national and international Biology competitions, and countless scored 800 on the SAT Biology test and 5 on the AP Biology test.

What really sets the Cambridge Biology Program apart is our dedication to our students. Cambridge Biology students take exams every week and test scores are emailed to the students and parents immediately. We also provide opportunities for them to compete in multiple Biology competitions throughout the year and engage in meaningful Biology-related activities.
