On Wednesday's Broadway Musical class, we did a rough run-through of the musical Oliver!, including songs, dialogue, and choreography.
The young orphans sang "Food Glorious Food" on stage. Then, Fagin's gang of boys took over, trying to lure Oliver to their thieving ways by belting out the song "Consider Yourself", the greatest welcoming song on Broadway. However, the boys forgot the song and the choreography when they had to perform live before an audience for the first time, and the result was absolutely hilarious! But fear not, things will go much more smoothly next week.
Amid all the hectic activities and chaos of working with a large group of rambunctious kids, the director really needed a break during the class.

On Friday, the students went to the Discovery Science Center in two large comfortable and air-conditioned vans after eating pizza for lunch at Cambridge. At the science center, they explored many different learning stations and absorbed scientific knowledge through hands-on experience.
With their astonishing blend of light and dark, complex shapes and bold colors, some of these photos are really beautiful works of art!
